Social Downwind

Start Place: On the beach, end of Greenway Road, Callala Beach, (Refer Callala Beach start finish map).
Skill Level: Intermediate, ability to self-rescue / pack down, confidently rides upwind and down wind.
Safety: All the following items are recommended to be worn Helmet, Buoyancy Aid (not legally required as less than 400m from shore) and wetsuit.
We will notify competitors during the event via text message of any course or timing changes.
The Friday down winder is a social cruise along Callala Beach down, Myola, across in front of Huskisson, around to Collingwood Beach for a finish on the southern end.
This event is not a race, rather a fun time spent playing in waves, doing jumps or tricks and just showing the township of Huskisson how much fun wind surfing, kite boarding/surfing can be. There can be a nice wave or two along Callala, Myola and Collingwood Beach.
